Why does jtv lag

So shouldnt he always be lagging while streaming? If he's getting high ping, that means his stream and the game are competing too much for his internet connection. First try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings, and if that still doesn't help, try lowering the bit rate that he is streaming at. Sometimes network conditions change.
